Jarrod Stephenson –
As a fellow professional musician of almost 30 years, I feel this book was broken down and laid out very well. It helps to bring your guitar to life using triads and other intervals not normally shown in books like this. I believe it is a must have for guitarists wanting more from their playing and is well worth the price.

This is definitely an excellent way to learn the guitar neck. It’s been a fun challenge and it’s actually transformed the way I improvise.
Thomas Brown –
I wish I had this years ago. It takes something that always felt confusing and makes it simple and logical. You can actually apply it right away. I’ve really enjoyed your YouTube tutorials as well.
Juan Rosero –
As a performing guitarist looking to improve my fretboard awareness, I highly recommend this book. I’ve struggled for a long time to truly learn the entire fretboard, and I can honestly say this book has been helping me develop a much deeper understanding of it.
It’s also improving my sight-reading and helping me get more comfortable with triads and essential intervals, things every professional guitar player should have under their fingers.
Give it a chance, I’m sure it can help you a lot.

Michael McClintock’s Master the Guitar Fretboard and Essential Music Theory in Just 10 Weeks is a fantastic book for any guitarist who wants to really understand the neck instead of just memorizing shapes and patterns. His approach makes learning the fretboard feel simple, practical, and actually useful for real playing—whether that’s improvising, reading, composing, or just feeling more confident on the instrument. The book is clear, easy to follow, and full of musical examples that make theory feel connected to actual music instead of dry exercises. You can tell it comes from someone with real experience as both a player and teacher. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to level up their musicianship and finally make sense of the guitar fretboard.
