Michael McClintock’s discography reflects a wide-ranging musical journey — from original compositions on his debut solo album, to band projects he arranged and directed, to collaborations with artists and ensembles across genres. His work has taken him from the U.S. to Cuba and Europe, including performances with Grammy-winning musicians and recordings featured on Cuban national television - some of which are highlighted through the album collaborations below.

ORIGINAL COMPOSITIONS

Album - Here and There (2025)

McClintock’s debut solo album, presents a bold collection of original compositions—a genre-blending journey shaped by classical, jazz, Cuban, and Brazilian traditions. Performed on four distinct guitars—including the Cuban tres—it highlights McClintock’s melodic clarity, harmonic depth, and rhythmic intuition. Here and There reveals a mature, expressive musical vision that is both deeply personal and universally resonant.

“A true delight for guitar players far and wide and a real advocating album — it will make you want to start learning the guitar as soon as you’re finished soaking in the mastery on display.”
RCM Magazine (UK)

ARRANGED & DIRECTED WORKS

Albums by Cubanisms, a fusion ensemble led by Michael McClintock. Blending jazz with Cuban, Afro-Cuban, and Brazilian traditions, these works feature his original arrangements of classic repertoire — all directed and anchored by his playing on the Cuban tres. The albums received strong praise from the Latin music community in the U.S., Colombia, and Cuba, and helped open the door for the band’s invitation to perform at Havana’s prestigious Jazz Plaza Festival in 2019.
